The content you include in your presentation must follow the Community Project objectives (Investigating, Planning, Taking Action, Reflecting).
The following is a breakdown of what can be included in each section (they are actually the objective strands). These should all be evident in your process journal as you have documented your journey of service as action through achieving your Community Project goal.

An introduction to the community you are serving and the need you have addressed. Te clear and highly challenging goal you have chosen and how this is based on your personal interests.
- How can I clearly communicate the need within this community that I have chosen to address?
- How can I communicate the global context I have chosen fr this project and why the context helps others understand just how important my Community Project goal is?
- How can I communicate how this goal is based on personal interest? What evidence can I provide to support why this is of personal interest to me? Can I employ an anecdote to communicate how this community project goal is based on personal interest?

We will be using a Ted-Style Talk as the format of our presentation. The document below is a scaffold and general guide that you can use to ensure that you/your group is/are communicating in a reflective and engaging TED-Style Talk approach.
Remember, the CP is about employing your ATL skills to serve others. Use your strengths and your learning preferences to develop your presentation.

WHAT ARE THEY?
They are visual communication tools that support your presentation. (EX: If you are giving a TED-style Talk you may have a Google Slide Deck behind or above you with visuals/diagrams/process journal extracts that support your presentation. What you communicate visually on the Slide Deck will be your visual aid.
WHAT CAN I USE TO CREATE THEM?
You can use sites that you use in your other subject areas, you could also create a pamphlet to share with your audience, create a prototype, etc.
HOW CAN I CREATE AN EFFECTIVE PRESENTATION?

HOW CAN I CREATE AN EFFECTIVE PRESENTATION?
- Use pictures/diagrams rather than words so that they support your oral communication
- "Rule of 3": If using bullet points in your visual aid, use 3 words per bullet point and only 3 bullet points on each page
- *Remember* The focus is on your oral communication
- Stick with one format/presentation style
- If you're using audio/video, make sure it is short and that everything is working properly

- If you have completed your CP in a pair/group, you're allowed a maximum of 15 process journal extracts
- If you have completed your CP individually, you're allowed a maximum of 10 process journal extracts
HOW DO I CHOOSE WHICH EXTRACT?
Revisit the objectives and the questions above, they will help you select which extracts to use.

- Go through and review the Community Project objectives (On the Home Page)
- Self assess your script, process journal extract, and visual aid. The guiding questions above are a good starting point for the self assessment.
- Do not forget to rehearse your presentation several times so that you can increase your confidence, receive feedback, monitor your timing, and ensure your script, process journal extracts, and visual aid connect well with the objectives.
